Why It Matters

Admission & scholarship advantages

Strong CSCA performance can meaningfully improve your competitiveness. It never guarantees an outcome, but it helps you put your best foot forward.

Admission Competitiveness

A strong CSCA result strengthens your overall profile and helps you stand out among applicants.

Scholarship Evaluation

Many universities consider CSCA when evaluating scholarships, so good preparation can pay off twice.

University Selection

Meeting or exceeding CSCA expectations can widen the range of universities open to you.

Academic Placement

Demonstrated readiness supports a smoother start to undergraduate study in your chosen field.

Avoid These

Common preparation mistakes

Most CSCA setbacks are avoidable. Keep these in mind and you'll prepare with far less stress.

Starting preparation too late

Leaving it to the last weeks adds stress and limits your options. Begin months ahead.

Ignoring Mathematics

Maths is required for everyone. Never treat it as a subject you can leave until later.

Choosing the wrong optional subjects

Pick Physics or Chemistry based on your intended major, not on guesswork.

Poor time management

Without a study plan and mock exams, it is easy to run out of time on the day.

Not checking university requirements

Requirements differ by university. Confirm them early so you prepare the right subjects.
